Hi ladies and gents, as the title states really. I have a sterilising unit to fit tomorrow which disperses water at above 100 degrees c ... I cant for the life of me find a supplier of a high temperature solvent welded pipework and fittings in inch and half ... I need to fit a pipework run that can more than withstand these temperatures and then finally reconnect to standard 1"1/2 solvent weld pvc

Any help would be greatly appreciated , even if its an online company that I have to order from.

Thanks once again

Jetco

Where would i find and inch and half waste sytem and fittings to attach to wastes on a sterilising sink (standard threaded waste outlet youd find in a commerical sink ect ? thanks for the quick reply

Hello Jetco,
Try BES, good for copper pipe, brass wastes and fittings. NOT sure about a trap, might be able to get a chrome plated bath trap from somewhere. Scott is right materials will be expensive.
Best Wishes
Andy

Water above 100 degrees c is steam ???

You'll need table y copper for that, you're in the realms of medium temperature hot water.

Your correct its in a commercial premises, first time fitting a Sterilising sink , so really clueless about how to go about the waste , let alone knowing what parts are called

Thanks for all your replies

Then is the task of getting back from the copper , into standard sol weld pipe a bit further down the run

solvent weld is not suitable for high temps, so you cant run it to a solvent weld waste system. Time to put the thinking cap on!
