I am offering Aristons now I prefer vailants but they just are not price competitve I hate worcrster crap I have fitted plenty of ideal logics but I dont want to fit anymore boilers with aluminium heat exchangers they are $hit so no more ideals. The Aristons have gianoni stainless sterl cool door heat exchangers pabst fans and sit sigma gas valves. They are whisper quiet. All parts are replaceable from the front of the hydraulic block. The hydraulic block is composite and not brass which is a shame but the price is very competitive. And they have the option of an 8 year warranty. They will register the boiler install with gas safe when you register it on there site. Parts are cheaper and are almost all the same across the whole range. You just change the parameters on the board to tell it which boiler it is in. The wired stats and external temp sensors are actually sensibly priced most of which are clearly made by Honeywell, Siemens and Grässlin.

Over all I will fit anything as long as I can get the job and keep customer happy

exactly, but custard relies on you to tell them what's best and when everyone tells them Worcester it can get depressing, having the second option or even a third is great!! especially when the second o third option is cheaper and lasts longer

Logic plus and Vogue are great and ideal give the best incentives a lot better than baxi after comparing the 2 but both are way better than WB. I dont fit so many duotecs these days but they are good. i just find i get better service from ideal its not like the old days they have come up in the world. i can also offer logic plus on 10 year warranty through the finance that i offer. and thats getting me fair bit of work. i do install WB's because custs do ask for them. but not a many as ideal as i quote for both to cust most tend to choose ideal beacuse of the longer warranty and price difference

takes 12 Logic pluses to get an ipad air 80 points per boiler more if its a vogue.

the ideal independant plus is a good boiler aswell and you can register these through installer connect to gas safe for free but you dont get any points for them but then they are cheaper.

How do you get 10 years?

I dont deny that is likely the case. but that suits me fine as then its down to me which is the way I like it. I have yet to find a technical line worth the call and time from any of the manufacturers. Its always a last resort for me and typically they only ever want to run through the things I did first off anyway. If im stuck im better off here.

Asking a customers budget is like saying how much can i get away with charging.. as a boiler cost is nowhere near what they would say so what would be the point.

Be careful , make sure you log out from your PC or your wife will show you how you can get 10 years break from her and your lovely doughter 🙂lol

So here it is!!
Did like it, easy to fit, not much to it really, all good except the pressure relief as hard to solder onto with that tiny bit of pipe that goes down, also should of put boiler on first as would of saved me time and would of used less couplings!!
Didnt like the flue as no screw to secure it and very flimsy, also the washers are very dodgy looking.
thermostat good and easy to use, quiet boiler, light to handle, easy to follow instructions, but generally much better boiler and at 3/4 the price of a Worcester!! Just a shame I don't get any points for fitting it!!
oh and why did they put the condensate right in the middle!! That would be much better at the back on the left!!
