Me and a mate were doing a combi swap yesterday in a first floor flat, was all going so well and then not so well.

Silly me decided to slip of a joist when the floor was up and stick my foot through the ceiling of the flat below, first time I've ever done it in 9 years 🙁

Luckily the people down stairs all seemed high as a kite so weren't bothered at all. We just went down there, tidied up, put a new bit of plasterboard in and when the plasterer's next round he's just going to nip down there to skim over it.

So I have officially lost my ceiling virginity 🙂

I don't think I would have managed to go all the way through, I'm not exactly small and the joists weren't miles apart. Luckily I managed to stop as my knee got to the ceiling. On the way back up my trainer nearly fell off aswell 🙂

When I did mine I'd turned to the apprentice on the job 5 minutes earlier and stated "only an idiot would put his foot though a ceiling" 5 minutes later I was on the kitchen floor!

I remember years ago, working in an old peoples home and my mate goes up in the loft to try locate the cold water tanks. I shout up telling him to watch where he's walking as the ceiling doesn't sound healthy... within 10 seconds a pair of legs come shooting through the ceiling! I absolutely wet myself laughing and was literally rolling on the floor!
He's shouting stop effin laughing and help me.
Poor sod was hanging on for dear life and i'm crying with laughter!! Oh the memories 🙂

Funnily enough half hour before my mate joked around and said to me make sure you don't put your foot through the ceiling 🙂

As I was pulling my foot back through aswell I nearly lost my trainer as it got stuck in the hole 🙂

Did it once back in about 1987 when I was an app, straight through a lath and plaster ceiling into a recently decorated bedroom, directly above her new CD player (they hadn't been out that long then)
There was black dust everywhere and the redhead who's bedroom it was lived up to the fiery reputation that redheads have

cissy,s you,ve got to go thru a lathe and plaster ceiling and have the lathes really dig in its the only thing to compare with kneeling on a screw I still sweat about it and it was years ago
