For one little insignificant job you are being asked very unfairly for too much detail about yourself.
Your insurance details are your private business and it should suffice that you give a domestic house owner customer just the bare details of your insurance cover. They should not get what it cost you or name of insurance company.
Just because the potential customer has been foolish to get a poor job done and were traumatised by the experience doesn't mean you should be grilled like a criminal for what? Half a days wages? I would walk away.
Look at it this way, - The customer has been checking you out and all your papers etc, - but are you able to check her out? Are you certain she will be decent, kind, honest, not try to fraud you, pay you and fully at end of job? Where's her paperwork and references?

You are quite right, I just thought it would be helpful to calm them a little down , now I am a little fool 😉

Anyway, they want me to do re grouting bathroom floor, 2nd bathroom re sealing the bath,
Re install the pipework and check that after reconnecting no leaks appear.

But moaning when it comes to asking me What's my hourly rate.

What would you charge for such a job as listed above ?

dont do the re grouting of the floor, if the grouting is cracking / moving theres something wrong underneath esp if its upstairs

To be honest, I do same thing with people who have had a bad experience with previous plumber and normally it works very well. Sometimes it just is so much hassle and wasted time. When you do a good job, they tend to think of you as a true professional, so it can be good in many ways and they probably will tell all their friends of you.
Cost I guess depends on which area you work in, but that is repair work and should be charged high.

yep or might be straight on chip board no 6mm ply or as you say matting

and about a day for doing the shower and about 2 hours for the bath

but you have to say some where you cant be responsible for the full installation after you finished (leaks)

and rate what ever your on now + a bit so round me its 30 so about 35-40

You get there and every tile is dead blown and plasterboard as wet as a old cardboard box left out in the rain for 7 months.

or the cus says it will only take you 10 mins and there a 1/2 gap between the bath and tiles 😀

That's a good one I have got all on my email address so already backed up a little.

I really do not where leak was will find out tomorrow morning. But apparently some joints were leaking ... She wants me to re install and check with her together before I leave.

She also mentioned in case something will happen in the future she can hunt me down in case I've done something wrong.

A little weird to be behaviour isn't it. Or is that normal when you had a flut in your house and the previous plumber was apparently a cowboy ?

Do not think he was a real cowboy though.

Will see if she wants me to do all new as she already moant about the costs as she asked me about the hourly costs.

if it was me once you and the customer have both checked the install and both are happy, i'd get the customer to sign the job off as no leaks and checked, and make sure you've got photo evidence, just in case they try to play you later on if theirs another leak thats not to do with you work,
Sometimes the customer is just a bit paranoid, after all it is there Home that they've worked hard for, But sometimes there looking to play you and complaining about your hourly rate but wanting the job done properly doesn't sit right with me, I'd be telling the customer that if they dont want any leaks like the last they you have to pay for a proper job

I had to pull the bath out and batten the wall, I put it level and there was still a 2" gap as the tiles where cut to the un-level bat, 4 tubes of silicone and 100mm flat plastic and the job was 4x the original price for siliconeing the bath
