Popped into one of my regulars this afternoon to do a LL cert on one of her rentals and noticed the lintel above the kitchen window was blown and starting to bend the window so when i was done i rang her and mentioned the lintel. She said do you know anyone i could get to do it.........wee squint at the watch to see if i had time to catch buildbase..........aye, me, but you will need to get it roughcasted when its done. Easy £250 profit for 3hrs without even a haggle.

Like plastering as a change did a lot in my early self employment. But ceilings are a killer for my shoulders these if i get the mix a little too stiff. (Oooo er missus)

I hear you Jules...I'd rather plaster ceilings than fit wet rooms though...too much work and too much to go wrong..
