    Mains stopcock broken

    Not much general plumbing experience. Mains stopcock handle sheared off. Street isolation only outside for 4/5 houses. So to save any faffing about was just going replace spindle. Question is do all stopcocks have same size spindle and gland thread?

    Mains water getting hot when CH is on! What the heck is that about?

    I went to do a safety cert the other day on a Main 30kw Combi. When I called for heat, as well as the F&R pipes heating up, so did the mains supply pipe to the boiler! Had a quick look and the further from the boiler the cooler the pipe...any ideas what's causing this? Thanks guys
