Hi all
Moved into a new (new to me) house a few weeks ago which has an old heating system; gravity hw and pumped heating. Just changed this to fully pumped as had no control over hw.
Now the problem is the radiators are hot to touch but the rooms don’t really heat up. There are double...
Hello all,
Apologies in advance as this is probably going to be a daft question. I do not appear to have a thermostat anywhere in my house. I have a danfoss programmer underneath my boiler and another in my bedroom. My question being is it possible to add a room thermostat to my living room ...

Afternoon folks, wondered if I could get a take on an issue I have come across on my travels.
Customer of mine had a guy out to do some work on his pool boiler. The guy was not the usual guy and found a list of remedials as long as your arm (typically).
One that he has picked up on is...
I have a remote/wireless room stat for the above boiler. Granted it's a few years old but still working. Anyway the stats info sometimes disappears and when I push the battery compartment up it sometimes comes back to life. After taking the batteries out and prising the terminations out it...

Hi,

Has anyone tried the plug in programmable wireless room stat from SALUS for both WB (ST620WBC) and Vaillant ecotec (ST620VBC) combi boilers at a fraction of the cost of their own offerings.
Had a Honeywell T6360 stat fitted a few days ago. It's working OK, but the problem is that it's not turning on and off at desired temperature according to stat. To obtain the desired temp I have to set the stat at 5 degrees lower. So for a temp of 21, I have to set the stat at 16.
Has anyone...
What is the reason they give a minimum recommended room size? Are there any dangers involved in putting in a room that's smaller than recommended?
This sort of thing

How do I calculate the correct radiator size to heat a room?
There must be a formula somewhere even if its only rule of thumb ?
Our current radiator is taking 4-5 hours to heat the room up to about 20C
This seems excessive to me.
The radiator does get hot and has been bled - no cold patches...
Good afternoon
I have 10 radiators running off my Ecotec Plus 360 system boiler. I am looking to add another rad to a bedroom so there are 2 as the one on its own is not enough. I believe the boiler should be big enough as another website said it can take 10 -14 rads.
Its a real pain as I will...
