105e FAN FAULT

Hi just called tonight to a fault on a mates 105e fan doing short pulses and going to fan flue fault light had a spare aps on me so tried that stripped out venturi and checked that also clean
fan will only go to speed when negative tube is pulled off venturi
going back in the morning as unable to get through to baxi helpline (1hr on holdline)
could this be a pcb fault as mate says it has being firing occasionally

thats a strange one , i presume flue is clear , Gas man knows these best , sounds like pcb if pulsing on and off at a guess good luck

if fun runs only if you pull from ventury this to me is blocked ventury mate

you need to put a meter on the fan see if your getting constant 240v,and check the flue

had no testing gear on me just being installing on me but like you say pcb just what my mate needs after a messy divorce

PCB. Changed one about 2 months ago doing the same.

yep i reckon your right went round today with pcb of an old 105 put it in cleared fan fault but came up with pump fault which is why i took it out so isnt there somewhere you can send these to be referbed to keep as emergency spares for night/weekend breakdowns??
