10mm pipes drops

If for some reason you can't drop 10mm pipes for rads behind the plaster in the corner of a room. Do most plumbers seem it acceptable to put the drops further in to the room? With the back boxes don't they drop down the centre of the rad?

yes they usually come out of the wall roughly center of the rad the do plates with rubber grommets to cover the hole
