110mm End Cap Solutions

I am currently plumbing in my shower and wondering whether I will get away with the endcap as seen in picture one, already fitted, or whether I should replace it with the solvent weld type that is seen in picture two?
Normally you would avoid compression fittings where they are hard to get to, but I wonder whether this extends to waste pipes where there is next to no pressure? Am I likely to have issues down the line with the compression fitting?
One slight hesitation I have with replacing the current cap, as seen in picture one, is that I am concerned about the possibility of dislodging the seal and then ending up in a right mess! :-/
Any advice appreciated!

There's "next to no pressure" only until it gets blocked. Then you want it to back up to an outlet rather than run away unseen. Imo solvent.

Chances are the shower trap will be compression but as above you want to minimise the risk of future problems so take the time now to do the best job possible.

OK thanks for the advice.

I’ve had another look at how I will route the pipes with the new fitting and the easiest way will be as per picture one and two, using a solvent conversion bend. Thing is, I’m not sure if this is what they are designed for!? Does this look okay?

i’m really limited on space and it is really difficult to route the piping, hence the use of the abovementioned joint.
