Hello,
My customer has a continuously dripping shower - Aqualisa Quartz A2 - gravity feed - and I am loath to try and dismantle it to try and strip and repair it given the unusual nature of its design and limited technical information that seems to be available.
The black moulding that the hot and cold feed go into inside the "no user servicable parts inside" grey box looks like it is glued together ? IS this actually servicable ?
Does anybody here have experience of stripping these down ? or have any other advice. The manufacturer seems to have gone out of their way to make it almost unserviceable.
Should I take it out of circuit in their loft (which could also be fun as somebody appears to have butchered the isolating valves) and try and repair it or just tell them they need a replacement. As the customer is a young couple I am trying to make it cost effective for them as I suspect they would not have the ££ required for a new unit.
Any experienced advice most welcome. Thank you.
