Guys,Is it possible to have bacteria in the copper water pipes feeding my bath.
This is the story.
Out of nowhere I was getting a really bad sulphur eggy smell when I was taking a shower which is over the bath.I thought it was the waste but I stripped it and cleaned it and to be honest it didn’t need cleaned so the smell was still there. My bath has became quite springy in certain bits and when I stand on these bits it pushes air through the mixer tap and it is absolutely rancid.Any ideas or advice would be appreciated this is driving me mad and the smell lingers for ages all upstairs.

Water heater is on the way out, the anode rod is shot. You could replace it if you want but the rest of the water heater might be too far gone, hard to say.
