Hi all,

We are replacing our bathroom “hand wash basin on a table” with a basin on a new wall-hung cabinet with a drawer in it. The problem is, the waste pipe outside diameter is 36mm but the space behind the drawer is only 33mm Behind that gap is a 10mm wide strip of wood (about 30mm high) going across the back at the bottom.

I don’t really want to but should I just cut that bit out of the back of the cabinet or is there an option to use a smaller diameter waste pipe without making the sink really slow to drain?
