Baxi 30 he problems

Hi all out there! My combi boiler decided to pack in on xmas eve😛rrr:. So xmas day with the kids freezing was interesting, not !! The wall stat asks for heat the fan runs, then clicks and a red neon light flashes on 80 degrees. In the manual this says " fault on central heating sensor". If I turn the selector on the boiler just to hot water,the same thing happens. I've put the stat on full which is hard wired tried resetting it, leaving it for a few hours. I've also checked the fast blow fuse, and the pressure is at 2 bar.
