Best air vent or seperator

Just about to install a new Heat store. I have underfloor heating and the UFH circuit is a closed circuit. I wish to ensure there is no air in there as it causes havoc. What is the very best bit of kit for this? I currently have an automatic air vent that drips a bit if I leave it open, so I tend to close it off and release any air about once a week. I'd prefer an automatic one without the agro.

I'm also going to get another air vent put on a high point in the system.

Any advice appreciated.

for purely air then spirovent (they have a proven track record in industry), if removing muck from a system then magnaclean filter(these also have a bleed point on top to release air) I stuck a magnaclean on my own system, traditional wet central heating system.

well basically what your doing is the best solution , normally the ufh circuit is purged of air by connecting a hose to the manifold when first installed

on the underfloor heating manifold you, could remove the air vent and replace it with an automatic air vent. its what i usually do, works like a charm. never had a problem
personally i have found that the honeywell ea122 is one of the best aav's on market and always carry them in stock!!

That's the one I've currently got, but it drips. It might be dirt or scum or worse causing this though.

Spirovent look the dogs nads... pricey though.

Maybe I just need a large vertical pipe to trap the air and a bleed nipple??
