Hi Guys/Gals,

Got a customer that has a Valour 963 homeflame dream gold. they had it installed 6 month ago but since have had the fire removed and the internal chimney taken down to just above ceiling height. The property is a bungalow. They have asked if i can come and install the fire using the existing opening, open the chimney in the loft and connect to a ridge vent tile. overall hight from top of fire to ridge is 5M. Flue box with liner and terminal? or can i connect from top of old chimney stack to ridge vent?

Might be worth contacting the manufacturer to see what flueing options they have

No not from top of stack unless it's blocks and you have correct top block

I believe it is 9" round clay liner.
