Hello, my Blanco 5300 Eye kitchen taps is leaking. I have replaced the cold valve 3 times (so 4 valves in total). After each time I replace the valve, the tap stops leaking for a year, then it starts again. This time, I changed the valve a few weeks ago and already it has slowly started a drip. It must be something else which is failing. I checked the O-rings which are placed after you remove the handle and the cylindrical steel part which covers the ring. Both hot and cold o-rings have a slit in them- is this normal? Even if these were to be failing, I can't see how they would result in a leak from the main tap spout, as the water does not pass through the O-rings before reaching the spout.

Thanks!

I changed the valve- not the o-ring. Is it normal that the o-rings have splits like that? Is it possible that these are causing the leaks?

Ok thanks; I don't think water is getting to them.. water is coming out of the spout and they aren't connected to the spout. It just seems a bit weird that the tap does not leak for a long time after I change the valve, then after a year or so it starts leaking again.
