Hi all,

Small but strange one, I have a Bosch Worcester 25si in the house i have recently bought. No problems till today. I put the CH on and all was well, then noticed it had gone cold. Checked the boiler and no red lights.
I fired up the hot water tap and red light on, followed by pilot light a few secs later - hot water all good! However no CH light even though the programmer was set to "on".
Looked on this forum and tried pressing the reset button. I now have a flashing red light on CH (but still no CH) - weird thing is here though , if i now try for hot water - the pilot light wont fire up at all! If i press the reset button again to get rid of the flashing CH red light, and then try for hot water again - the pilot light fires up ok!!
Anyone got any ideas as to what i might be expecting here before a call out?
Hoping it doesnt sound major as hot water is ok when no flashing red on CH, but i hope you fine people will have a better idea!

Thanks in advance all! :cheesy:

EDIT: Found this http://www.worcester-bosch.co.uk/homeowner/products/quick-gas-boiler-help?p_id=154 , however i have a small reset looking button inbetween the two dials? - So have i not been pressing the reset button? Do i really need a call out for a reset???

Hi Wingnutta
It seems that you have pressed the reset button without the Blr requiring a reset. Turn it off at the spur then turn it on again. no lights should be flashing . If they are
if they are.. Press the reset inbetween the two temp control knobs. Try your hot water. If this works fine. Switch you central heating on. If there no
light (make sure the room stat if fitted is turned up) there may be a problem with external demand. Either your room stat or programmer are not sending 240v back to the switch live on the blr. Have a go at this and let me know, but do not press the reset button unless you get any flashing lights

Guys - top work! - The missus had turned the thermostat down to 15 so it just wasnt demanding heat. :90: Turned it up to test and all fine and dandy. Thats why i use forums! Thankyou very much!
