Bossing Iron

Anyone recommend a decent holesaw to boss into an Iron Stack? Also do i use a normal strap on boss or is there a certain fitting for it? Thanks

I just use my normal hole saws but just buy a new one for the job and bill it takes a bit of time just keep cooling it down in water but use a mains drill otherwise you"ll be going through batteries in no time, last one i did took bout 40 mins

Oh and the boss i used was slightly different has a rubber inside it which pushes into the cast get em at stevenage plumbing Lee

macalpine are doing a plastic boss pipe that holds in a bit like a drain plug with an expanding rubber

Nice new hole saw and slow speed, along with coolant.

Any decent holesaw will drill the cast no problem. Starrett or bosch amongst others are fine.
McAlpine do bosses for cast or you can get a timesaver strap on.
