Alright guys? Went to do a landlords cert today, testing the cooker and the lid failed to cut off the gas to one of the burners, so ID'd it.
I always thought that you have to take the bayonet connection out and put a plug in the elbow, or cap the gas pipe. But after speaking to one of my colleagues, he said all you have to do is take the hose out of the bayonet and that's sufficient, is he correct?
Seems a bit dodgy as the customer could easily just plug it back in.
