anyone know of the tech bulliten on flues in other properties

Having your flue run through other properties is not advised for obvious reasons but there is no info in place that states the flue MUST be re-routed as far as I am aware.
Even to comply with TB008 Flues in voids, all reasonable steps must be taken to check the full flue run, but where runs through neighboring properties this may not be possible and risk assessed.

look at tb016 positioning of room sealed terminals and plumeing its on gas safes site not the old tb016 visual risk assessment

the flue terminal positions may not have anything to do with gas safe from a nuisance point of view. If they are in a safe position then you will probably need to get the local building control to take a look, gas safe may advise this. If a new flue is fitted that meets the required clearances but still causes a nuisance then you can request it be altered. If its an existing flue thats been in a while then its unlikely to be altered.
