Please take a look at the attached pics, we are having occasional leaks from our cast iron radiator in the hall, fist it looked like they were coming from the underneath joins/seams which I tried to repair using using metal epoxy putty (looked like this worked) but we have come home a couple of time to find the rad has leaked again somewhere at the end/pipework (see pics) It is dry most of the time and no apparent constant leak or drip, any Ideas what this could be and how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The one on the end should be a relatively easy fix. The fitting may just need tightening or the gasket replaced.

The one in between the sections is going to cause some grief.
The panel will have to be taken apart - with a specialist tool - and the gaskets replaced.
Depending on the age of the panel - the breaking down of the sections could / can be a real pain.

You could try a leak sealer in the system to see if that fixes the problem, but I wouldn't expect too much from a leak sealer due to the fibre gaskets.

Totally agree with changing gaskets. Sometimes they will seal on its own when you heat them up but it's not a solution for long. You better off to drain rads and replacing the gaskets.
