Chrome barrier pipe?

It would be good if Speedfit pipe, Hep etc. could be made in a chrome effect. Plastic waste pipes and traps can be made to simulate chrome so why can't pushfit pipe and fittings? Speedfit make a chrome isolating valve which is very expensive and in my opinion pointless as it can't be used with chrome copper and looks silly with white plastic. A "chrome" effect range would be useful for bathrooms and where pipe is on show and (hopefully) cheaper than expensive chrome copper and fittings.

Chrome is hard and brittle and would come off a flexible pipe

do it in chrome copper,finding it in table x is the issue,not all of it can be bent😡

Not meaning "real" chrome but simulated as with plastic bottle traps. Chrome copper costs me a bloody fortune and a cheaper alternative would be nice. Don't know why straight lengths of Speedfit pipe and fittings can't be made to look like chrome.

But even the simulated stuff is brittle , it flakes off traps , plastic showers etc. Stop bein tight and use the real stuff😉😉

I don't always include chrome in the price and I use it if I think that it is needed, i.e it will enhance the appearance of pipework that I have no option other to have on show. What's the point of a JG Speedfit chrome isolating valve if they don't have the same coloured pipe and it can't be used on chrome copper without having to get my file out anyway?

I agree its worth putting in especially on chrome towel rails, but I would still include it in the price even if your only using a little bit just add a couple of pound onto price
