City and guilds 6189?

just wondering does any 1 know what the numbers are relating to? ive seen loads of different plumbing courses offering city and guilds level 2 and 3, but have noticed alot of them have different numbers after them eg 6129, 6035, 6189

im at college doing 6189-11 and 6189-21 at the minute

6035 is without on site assessment, you can then be assessed and convert it into a 6189. This replaced the old 6089. The 6089 replaced the old style nvq papers! Hope this helps

6129 is the old technical certificate that can be then converted to 6089. I don't think this is still offered by colleges, not so sure, it's been a while!

ah, thanks for clearing all that up, so is 6189 the newest version WITH onsite assessment?
