I have been to a job today where there is a 4" cast iron soil stack with a 3" branch, running inside a boxing inside the property. The person who has installed the new bathroom suite, has put the 42mm bath waste into the 3" branch and then loaded it up with plumbers mate, this is now leaking.
Does any body know of any fittings that I might use to get the 42mm waste pipe in to the 3" cast iron collar.
regards
Mike

Hi Get a 2" or 1/2" galv socket and caulk into socket, the a plastic to BSPT male adapter. Screw it in and connect plastic pipe. Good Luck

Timesaver would mean cutting the collar off, but if you did decide to go that route
I suspect Fernco make a rubber fitting that will do it in one go
