Firstly, can I say that? 🙂 Started a bathroom on Monday, picked up a 1200 x 800 cast resin tray, wall panels and bathroom suite, supposed to be there on Monday as well, but ordered by the cust. Monday morning I had to swap a boiler as an emergency and phoned to say I would start the bathroom first thing Tuesday. Arrives on site with my 55kg shower tray and hoiks it up the stairs and there's nothing else there. Oh it's coming today, champion, builds a base for the tray, sorts out the waste and gets the copper into the wall for the shower. Luckily the shower is going into a corner with nothing in. Had a good tidy up and sort out for everything else to arrive. Oh it's coming tomorrow. Back this morning, starts taking tiles off the wall above the bath. Cust comes in, oh you can't do that the stuff isn't coming until tomorrow. Tough, I'll leave you enough tiles to still use the shower over the bath. Half one ran out of work so sat at home finishing off my price for the eco house. Plus the bloody return button won't work, but only on the forum so it's all in one paragraph. For foot snake.

Nightmare.

By the way, if you click the button with the small black A over the bigger blue A (left hand button above where you type when replying) you can use the return button. No idea why this has only needed to be done recently though.

Some customers think we're only there to work for them and be at their beck and call. I'd leave and tell her to give you a days notice after the stuff has actually arrived.

I've stopped doing bathrooms where customers supply their own bits now. Not worth the stress tbh. I want an easy life.

I see! Is not as bad as you might think being VAT registered. Customers here seem to expect to pay VAT on stuff like bathroom installs etc. Plus to can claim a lot back too!

I tell customers that I can't fit parts that they have supplied because then they are not covered by my warranty, while parts that I supply are. This usually swings them round. Days of me fitting customer supplied diy c rap are long gone.

Should've ripped the lot out, let them with a pan and a bucket. " sorry I thought you said it was coming today"
