Hi. Please can somebody give me some advice on replacing the PCB. The orignal got water inside and shorted the board. The leek has been fixed and I purchased a new PCB. When starting with the new board it was clear there was a problem. On inspection of the boards the old one is marked DCF02.1 and the new DVF02.2. Is there any way to change the installer program to make it work and if so what are the settings? Or do I Need to buy the correctly marked PCB? Many thanks in advance for any help. Marc

if you havent opened it yet take it back and swop it for the right one,not good to make and do may cause more damage and fubar everything.

if the boilers been soaked you may well blow the new pcb as the gas valve etc may have been damaged. was it flood damage or a leak in a specific area fm the boiler, be sure everything is dry before you turn anything on. youd be better off calling in british gas to cure the problem for a one off fee of around £175 or thereabouts on a guaranteed fix for the price. After all a pcb must be at least £150 on its own.
