Ferroli Optimax HE Combi's - Any good?

Hi folks

Has anybody got experience of fitting Ferroli Optimax HE Combi boilers? I'm fairly recently gas qualified and looking to use decent boilers at a decent price. Pricing a central heating system for a customer at the moment and theres a deal on at my local merchants that caught my eye:- 30kw Ferroli Combi with flue and timeclock for less than £600+vat. Thoughts?

Doesn't have to be 30kw, they had the 24kw version cheaper which would probably still do the job nicely, but there was talk of fitting a mixer shower later on so thought they would benefit from a 30kw for the long term.

Personally wouldn't go near one with a barge pole mate, if you really want the job maybe quote for that and put an extra on for a Worcester or Vaillant maybe?

I'm getting the impression that i should be avoiding the Ferroli! I know Worcester and Vaillant are probably the best around at the moment so i'll look into to them. It was just the Ferroli deal in the merchants caught my eye because of the price and a 5yr guarantee, which i dont think i can get with Worcester or Vaillant as im not accredited by them (correct me if im wrong) This is the first full installation im pricing so i dont want to cock it up!
