Congrats Ray on your latest conquest!!
Good to hear of your buy out

i noticed danfos are on your latest advert, when are they hitting the website??
will we see an expanded product range now ??

the likes of OSO ect??

Sorry Billy. RM have looked after us for 25 years, and we are nothing if not loyal.

We list megaflo because we have to, and other makes as spin offs from the boiler brand, but RM out sell all the rest put together by a factor of 10:1.

No plans to change our allegiance.

Your Williams own brand plastics, how has that come about?

Long story, but in essence we disagreed with Polypipe. They felt that installers would be happy to pay the best part of a quid for a solvent waste fitting if it had their brand on it. Our view was that this was unsustainable in the face of more realistic pricing from the likes of Floplast via Screwfix. A solvent waste fitting just doesn't carry that much brand sensitivity. After three years of arguing with them about it we told them last year that we were going to market an own-brand waste fitting, and invited them to tender for making it.

However, they declined, so its being made for us by Davant in Herefordshire. Amusingly, some of the slower moving items are made for Davant by ... Polypipe!

Its only a[DLMURL="http://www.tradeonlyplumbing.co.uk/pipe-fittings/soil-waste-traps-and-overflow/solvent-waste-pipe-fittings/pre-packed-waste-pipe-fittings.html"] limited range[/DLMURL] at the moment to test the water, but early signs are encouraging. By the time our merchandising team got back from setting up the stand in Southampton (20 mins away) it had already sold out of some lines.

There is sight error in the listing for the 32mm knuckle elbow pack Ray.

Heading is 32mm whilst description say`s 40mm

RM's a nice solid cylinder.

And one of the few things that are actually made in Britain these days. Not just packaged in the UK, or assembled from parts made elsewhere - they
make the cylinder in their own factory.

Ray, Any plans to do the waste pipe and fittings in black. As i find the white can get scuffed easy so does the black but you dont see it.

Haha just seen it

Ray, will you be including Danfoss TRVs etc or are you limited to electrical items etc?

Ray any ideas what a kunckle is??

Kunckle. Noun. Archaic term for the sort of scotsman who compensates for possessing very small genitalia by nitpicking about the spelling on a poor plumbers merchant website. Formerly thought to be extinct, but there have been reported sitings in the Bathgate area of West Lothian.

🙂

Thanks Lachlan. Fixed now. 🙂
