but since ive used screwfix reasonable quality and decent prices even better now they do macalpine traps flow plast ones are carp

Rob Catlin and his team get a lot of stuff across their desk, and have multiple priorities, so please don't be disheartened if you dont hear anything for a while.

Also, and please don't think I am being negative, Rob's judgement will not reflect on whether you have a good idea, or the quality of the engineering (so long as it reaches a minimum standard). His judgement will be "whether or not we can make money out of it".

I appreciate that this isn't why you invented and developed it, but it is the ONLY reason that a merchant would stock it.

Dead tidy cylinder install that. Nice. Here is a pretty similar one of mine from Williams. They are decent kit at a fair price and the compression exp vessel is a nice touch.

Well spotted. In deed it is.
I wondered whether anyone would spot it.
Needless to say it has since been removed as it was cut in to test the hot and ballanced cold supplys independantly, before the boiler was installed which is also why the immersions and cylinder stat are not wired in.

I don't mean to be an arse as I know you didn't put the picture up for comments, but that's not a valve between the cylinder and the expansion vessel, is it?
