holding the hose on an injector, i stopped doing this when my hand almost set a light..

i look at flame picture on the hot plates and always analyze ovens.. few ovens ive checked have looked ok, but the co has been over 500ppm

cookers are the biggest killers, so i'd rather just analyze as much as i can rather than gas rate it..

if you dont put your manometer hose onto the injector, how do you know if the working pressure is correct, and what working pressure do you write down on your paperwork. the diy device i described previously ensures your hand does'nt get set alight. it's an ideal device for checking working pressure, it's not for inlet pressure or gas rating though.

Question: 1) Do you have to Co/CO2 ratio on a gas cooker? Is this a legal requirment now.

some cookers have the test point on the rig to burners and taps. My boss sometimes just usually put the manometer over the injector with 3 rings on

Thats how we were taught in college as well.

Cookers kill more people than O/F appliances? Pish!

Data badge / mi tells u output of each ring and oven. Gas rate with min 3 burners ( add up output to gas rate)

Why do you gas rate with 3 burners not max?
Using 3 burners is how you check working pressure of the meter regulator if using a cooker, any other appliance you use it on full

If u use 3 u can bp at same time as gas rate. Each burner has its own input value. U test a fire front then bbu or both at same time,?

Fair enough, if you are using 4th as well, some appliances don't have individual inputs for each ring,
On BBU, I rate boiler, then fire then both,

I fitted a Hob fired it up it looked a right treat it was bound for ukraine some how ended up here they use 16mb over there the customer service department from gorenje shouted at me and told me all gorenje hobs come with G20 UK jets . I slammed the phone down cut it off charged them and told them to contact gorenje Due to the poor cust service and a disappearing rep the hob is now a display piece Still waiting for UK Jets
