I thought Met1 includes training on how to adjust the meter reg.
It'd be a bit odd if you then weren't allowed to touch it.

see like BLOd has just said, i dont understand it now, i was informed by 2 of them that you can ring esp get a reference and adjust the regulator if they allow so, but then as you are all saying it i will not be doing it, thanks for your infos, very much appreciated, i will be going back and asking the assesors there to confirm and might even make a couple of phone calls to confirm thanks for your time and help, cheerz everyone.

Please post an update to this idea

The only reason that training centres teach students about Meter Regulators is simply so that they understand how they work and can identify a potential faults - Working pressure problems, lock out, chattering etc, and to give students a clear understanding of how gas is supplied to a premises.

Just ring the gas supplier/transporter and they will attend in a few hours to set the reg. Easy.

LOL - An interesting concept! Fortunately, I know you are clearly joking, which I thought I'd add for anyone reading that and thinking 'yup, that'd work...'!!!!

Bottom line is, regulator for non-supplier employees, is outside of MET1 and belongs to the supplier - ring them if you suspect anything with regulator not right, and never cut the seal to work on it unless authorised.
