Sounds like the gas safe guy is ex bg. Full of shyte and too smart with the mouth infront of the customer. I'm afraid it will get worse in the future as all the old heads who know the score get sick of it or retire.
His report will go back to the office and get looked at and will come back with a few this and thats.
Chill

It’s out of your hands now. You could pull out all of your hair from your head… and it’ll change absolutely nothing! Well… you will look a bit different. As I say - It’s out of your hands. Make sure you have all the answers for Gas Safe later on.

I have phoned gas safe before regarding a prv and they passed it over as build control issue

When it suits I guess

Is it quite common to be picked up on jiggly things then you just get them sorted out and that's it ??

PJF...........PRV is buliding control, look in WB M.Is it shows wall termination of PRV!!, Rest is load od bull, sort gas pipe it looks un professional, even though WP is OK

Chin up if they found nothing they would'nt have a job!

Had the report today picked me up on prv concrete around flue cracking flux on pipe few other little things all ncs He tested there cooker and ID it turned off and capped off. I didn't work on cooker and the job was 14 months ago spoke to customer they are getting another ( expert ) plumber with over 40 years experience to do the work then bill me i said we'll no the expert is doing it spoke to the inspector and he said all the faults he found are justified he will see me on the inspection in a few weeks that's the update

Prv is not his remit unless it is capped off. See worcester mi's as Vern said.
Concrete ¿ (cement?) around flue, not necessary with a worcester (read the mi's) if the collars are fitted.
Flux on pipe, no classification unless it was slapped on and causing corrosion.
Argue your case with him but make sure you have better answers than he does.
Why would he ID a cooker? She must be a right lazy cow to let it get that bad.
Even if you never worked on the cooker you have a duty to give it a visual inspection and record any defects if you are doing work on any other appliances but a lot can happen in the 14 month timespan
And btw
Tell her to gtf.
