Here is a good one, just come through on my mail they are asking us to confirm what is wrong with it, might be a tad easier & quick to say what is right !!! Here is the best bit, can any one guess where it is installed ?

I'm guessing training college where it was installed by the caretakers pet monkey.
Its kind of poetic justice !!!! for all those poorly installed jobs we all come across where we have quoted & then been undercut by our foreign cousins.

From your website I know that you do not service north-west London nevertheless I would be most grateful for your advise on badly installed Megaflo 145DD cylinder (image attached).
Apparently there are three major issues that need correcting:
1. no inlet group installed
2. no drain of valve
3. distance from D2 of the pipe to the elbow is too short (300 mm required)
Could you please confirm that this is indeed the case and also, what would be the approximate cost involved. I would like to have an independent assessment before I start looking for a local plumber.

Even if it is "true" the guy wants you to diagnose all the problems so he can get another idiot in to sort them out on the cheap! What a plonker!

Customer called to have damp patch on wall investigated.
Went in to loft to find condensate pipe from boiler lashed into cast iron s&v pipe. Not sealed in & fall on pipe away from where it enters s&v pipe, nicely dripping back down into the room below!
All work done by a GSR, just too lazy to do it properly!
