Hi and Hello to all.

Got a problem with my Halstead Ace Boiler. Uptill now had no real problems but now I have to turn the tap up really high to get the boiler to fire up and give me hot water. Tried to take off the pressure switch but can't get the two flow sensor pipes out!!! As for the pressure regulator cant slackent the dam nut!!! To let me concentrate on the one problem does anybody have any ideas what the issue may be?

Thanks to all in advance. - I'm really gratefull for any help.

Re: Halstead Ace - DHW Pressure Switch or Pressure Regulator. ( HW only at full press

Sounds like your diaphragms needs replacing, don't bother taking the diaphragm housing apart till you've got new one!
It's on the right side, turn off cold, open taps, snip the 2 zip ties holding in the metal clips, then pull clips out which allows you to pull the small tubes out of the housing [can be quite stiff, difficult to pull out]. Slacken the 2 grub screws that hold the diaphragm housing onto the changeover valve, & remove. Undo the screws on dia housing replace diaphragm, refit [ apply grease to O rings on small tubes, makes assembly easier]
If in doubt of what to do get a GS repair eng
