lame plumber

cracked a cistern today getting it off a wall, doh, luckily it was in my sons office and not charging him for labour, so not an issue. then a couple of services followed by home to look after my 2 year old grand daughter ( her mum isnt well at present). So the wife went off to her horses and we were left alone.... went ok for 5 minutes then came the request.... bic bics pop pop, ad nauseum so a couple of digestives later more bic bics........... and grand dad (pop pop) refused. OMG how can something so small make so much noise!!!!!!!!!!!!! so we resorted to the mobile internet and 30 minutes of the muppets singing various tunes. Never will I raise an eyebrow at parents giving toddlers a mobile to keep them quiet again...

So all in all I had 2 hours of my lovable grand child on my own for the first time ever, I am knackered, it wasnt this hard with my own kids, there again I was in the RN and never at home to look after them, so respect for all the mums out there.... bugger being a pc father 🙂

My worst nightmare would be looking after my 2 daughters full time! Absolute handful and honestly don't know how my misses does it!

Used to love looking after my sisters 2 when they were little for weekends or the odd whole week, gave me the chance to play the fool.
