I would like to say a huge hello to all existing members.
On a personal level I came into plumbing as a mature student and love the work and variety i brings. I have just about completed tech cert level 2 and NVQ level 2. I am pondering whether to study level 3 or jump straight into gas foundation CCN1 followed by the ACS. I am in the fortunate position of working with a brilliant gas engineer who is also a qualified assessor. My boss will give me the necessary ACS training.
I would appreciate any advice from anyone.

Welcome to UKPlumbersForums.co.uk Alan+. Thanks for introducing yourself.

go for the level 3s as theres no point in being a boiler fitter if you cannt design a decent central heating system to go with it. This is spoken by someone who came into plumbing later than you I expect and only got his gas tickets at 49, the more you know the easier it is.😀
