Help ME PLEASE !!!!!!!

Hi everyone,

on job now glowworm ultimate 50ff, got pilot but burner won't light, keeps sparking.

Replace gas valve & PCB but still no joy. got gas at inlet of valve. Nothing on burner test point, getting 240 on gas valve lead. Polarity good.

Anyone got any ideas?
Could it be faulty gas valve or pub? how can i test for this?

turn the gas off and water guage / guage on inlet of gas valve does it drop?

yes when turned on drops a little

checked all leads on board look ok, i replaced 1 at a time when putting new board in

not lots just small amount, but i did disconnect pilot next to electrode and was getting 30mbar there

Try cleaning the injector on the pilot assembly.

240 and seems to run ok, air switch clicks & also sucked on tube to mimic it and still didn't fire

i have taken it off & blown through it all, seems clear & blown through new pilot hose from gas valve

Do me a favour mate. Put it back together leave the case off and pull the ignition lead away from the casing and pilot tube. Then test.

Have you checked power on the switch live? What power do you have between live and earth. Live and neutral and earth and neutral? Sounds electrical to me. Are all wires definitely in thewiring block properly?

I believe from memory it should have 3 tiny holes in it that you can see through.

still sparking, cant see anything through pilot, tried scraping inside with pin & philips but cant feel any holes.

got 240 on sl, 240 on L 0 on N

Push the head of a safety pin around the head gently from the outside you will get them eventually.
