Hi All,

Looking at starting with homeserve within the next 2 weeks and just wondered if anybody on here has actually worked for them before or is currently working for them and looking for some insight ???

I would appreciate any feedback good or bad !!!

I've not worked for Homserve but sounds like similar work to what I'm doing. Like all jobs there are good days and bad days, easy jobs and hard jobs but not too bad.

worked for homeserve for 6 years.. worst company ever.. best thing i did was leave. management couldnt give a rats who they send (as half the engineers aren't even qualified) as long as theres a face at the door they don't care. With all the trouble they've got into recently their cutting back on money anyway they can - starting with? yes you guessed it - engineers wages. i have took a 6 grand paycut this year, and when i voiced my opinion i was was just told basically to lump as it is a bonus payed salary so there's nothing they can do.

all i will say is that if your desperate for work, go for it, but expected to be traveling upon average 40 miles between each job, working late shifts 4 out of every 6 weeks, and getting in the neck of irrate policy holders because the drongos in the deployment office dont even know the meaning of a courtesy call.. then fill your boots 🙂
