You can get a 22mm plastic fitting remover for Hep2o plastic fittings from most stockists that will get the fitting off. If you’re feeling really brave and it’s an emergency you could use two screw drivers 180 degrees apart to push the inner ring in but I wouldn’t recommend that method unless you enjoy stabbing yourself.
