Ideal Concord Casing Seal WRS 240A - Desp Needed

HELP!

Am selling my house and my very old yet reliable boiler failed its safety inspection on its casing seal. Apart from thats its great. Everywhere I ask this item is obsolete. and if I can't find the part I will have to give the buyers £3k for a new boiler which i so don't want to do...

Any solutions for me old wise ones!

Apparently the part number is an Ideal Case Sealing Pack 076120

Get your gsr to take a look at it, there may be another way.

But I'm afraid that once a manufacturer deems a boiler obsolete, they only have to supply spare parts for a certain amount of time. 10 years I believe.

Once that stock is run down you're kinda knackered.

Which you MUST get a gsr to fit for you.

Closining this thread as too much info not suitable for a non gsr is being given now.
