Just had a gas man round my mums to make sure boiler all ok as she's be in rehab a good few weeks. She's got BG home plan thing.

Anyway I put the heating on last night, all seems ok but don't want any surprises. All seems good but it was due a yearly inspection since she's been away.

Chap from BG turns up, looks at boiler & without saying anything or taking the cover off, looking at the gas meter etc. He says 'you need a new boiler'!!!!

He was there less than 60 secs as I told him to walk away. I feel a complaint email being sent.

Also my mums 83, she'd rather pay £11 a month for peace of mind. & so would I.

The boilers never failed to work. It's up & running, hot water & all ok.
