What time did you start? Last system I powerflushed, it was a 14? rad system, and took me about 9 hours.

You got a flushing magnet on that?

About 0930 hours, I have a magnacleanse on it and I should be here about another 3 hours. It isn’t that bad to be fair. More rusting rather than sludge.

I’ve ordered a repair coupling - £20 for 2 couplings and a pipe former! Boom!

Can you tell me where from? I have a number of damaged sections under my lounge floor. Due to not taking shrinkage into account when I notched the joists. I managed to get a union for the only one that was actually leaking, but that was given to my local branch of Graham as a sample, and they could only give me one!

If it's uponor then plumb centre do them and you use a 15 mm compression straight with 2 of the adaptors.

If its 16mm MLCP I've got a few stashed away from when I did my UFH, made by Antares if I remember right.

I used an adjustable pipe slice, I think. This one is my usual pal. Monument Pipe Cutter 4-28mm
Do you need me to check it works? Can do it now, would only take a few minutes...

Boom! Repaired. Really easy to fit. Make sure you get the reamer tool!!
