Hi all, my bath tap is slightly leaking so I was planning to change the washers but having difficulty taking off this cover highlighted in red.

Is this screwed on or is it just a cover that should just pop off? Sprayed some wd40 around the edges and try to pry off with a flat head screw driver but there's no budge

Should screw off. Dont damage the chrome though.
Youre right that it should screw off as I managed to to the other one but this one stiff as f***. I've sprayed some wd40 and tried to unscrew but it's rusted in good. Any tips on how to remove?

Wore my builder gloves and gave it a good twist and it's off!
