Hi all,
Was looking at oven part of a cooker today. Customer was complaining about the flame. The flame is very yellow compared to blue flame on grill and hob so I thought that whoever installed it hadn't changed the jet in the oven part. Took jet out and checked it but seems to be the correct one. Can the actual burner be the problem? I haven't worked at ovens too much, too much getting clattered in grease! Thanks for any help.

Yea the flames on both the hob and grill are exactly as you would expect, that's why I thought the jet was a natural gas one as everything else is fine.

You just need to remove burner and give it a good wash through, and make sure the holes around where pilot is are clear, get loads of these on camp site's more so if it's running on bottles rather than bulk

Tried that as well. I used a small wire brush to give it a good clean, looked all clear but the flame was still very yellow

You need to wash it with hot water , gets crap stuck inside burner, may have spilt grease on burner if that don't work replace burner bar.
