hi grey 0689 thanks for reply.the boiler flue terminates at a height of 2m on a extention to a terrace house.the wall that the flue terminates on is the boundary wall looking on to a courtyard next door. the terraces are interlinked with 2 walls at right angles over looking the courtyard so next door cannot extend .hope this makes sense

and why can't you terminate out the rear....or go up....otherwise sounds like you are infringing on your neighbours space... no excuse for this!!

No exceptions I'm afraid, Had to move one that was over boundary but three stories up thanks to a kind subbie who couldnt read regs!
