Started a complete system install today, everything ordered in time, scaffold booked, picked up 3 rads to kick off the morning, then nothing arrived from merchant. Usual excuse, x told y to deal with it, then the suppliers havent delivered ( funny they deliver twice a week and it was all ordered 10 days back) do you need the boiler and flues or can we wait till monday? at this point I let rip, and they wonder why even though they are the biggest supplier that I stopped using them, they asked me to come back on the promise of good customer service.!

Oh for williams to move down this way (i know it isnt going to happen for some time Ray), but THANKS FOR THE BISCUITS, PRICE LIST AND CATALOGUES, If only all merchants reacted as quickly as you did, never saw the bics, youngest daughter nicked them !! You lot in the south dont realise how lucky you are, set prices in a catalogue, and decent service from my first dealings with Williams, once you get your internet sales sorted your mine! Only question, do you flog intergas boilers?🙂

Nope. I did have a meeting set up with them as a result of forum interest, but they cancelled it.

I suspect that they don't want to trade with us for fear of upsetting their other stockists.

thats interesting as they originally only sold to independants, now they are providing pts or plumb center who undercut all the independants by selling below cost price! and they seem to be going for the big names now. RGB an independant group are of similar size to williams sell a lot of intergas at present

Who else stocks intergas? i have to buy mine from plumbase who seen to have a monopoly. City plumbing do stock them but dont compete on price?????

are their any other merchents who stock them?

Local independant keeps limited stock, though not much, next day though for any other bits.
