I dont see many vissemanns, which isnt surprising given their small market share of the London market. But yesterday was the 1st time I had to really go at one, and what i have to report back is theyre like a worcester greenstar only worst, to get at one part you have to take everything out.
I got the block/pump/plate heat etc half out and in doing so pulled the plastic bag I was using to protect the PCB off. Half out and stuck I realised I'd missed something, meanwhile water is pouring over PCB cover.
Horrible design, the drain off valve is at the top of the boiler and as i discovered not for draining but for filling the boiler, no drain off valve at the bottom where you'd needed it.
Also flow and return is rubber hoses, not good in my book, vaillant and main ditched that idea for good reason
spent ages drying out the PCB with a hair dryer before daring to turn it back on. ended up being there for ages, a steep learning curve for me and expensive for my customer
I'd expected them to be good boilers and i've even quoted, but yet to fit their big storage combi.
Not so sure now
