Outside tap move

I am having a conservatory built. The new cavity wall will cover the current location of my outside tap, what's the best way to move the tap around the edges of the new conservatory? Underground, under the foundations? Insulated and clipped to the new wall? Can i just lay mdpe in 4inch soil pipe snd pour cement over the top? What type of pipe etc... Sorry I'm a novice. Thanks for any help.

Welcome along James, there are regs regarding depth and types of pipes for this, others know the regs better than I do so .............

I'm digging a trench in the freezing winter ground at the moment and can personally vouch the frost penetrates no further than 749mm.

Outside taps now require internal double check valve and means to isolate, both require protection from frost. So isolate and check valve inside existing building, then new run of pipe to point of discharge. (tap).If buried, run in duct for easy replacement in event of frost damage.

Thankyou for your reply. I can already isolate the tap inside and coUldale add a double check valve, I just don't know where to put the pipe and what sort. If I put mdpe should it go under foundations in 4 inch soil pipe for a duct?

Could use 15mm Hep2O in 40mm waste as duct, fittings same as 15mm copper.

Full bore lever valve, double check (Inside the building in accessible location)
Then run Speed fit pipe inside 40mm waste pipe insulated
should be 750mm-1350mm deep

bit of a waste of time insulating it if you dig it in at the correct depth, easiest option is mdpe in a bed of sand at the depths mentions, bring it up and connect directly to a tap with the corrct fitting for the size of mdpe used, cheaper than using copper pipe and all the rest.
