COLUMBUS, Ohio-Parker Hannifin Corp.'s Tube Fittings Division has developed a new line of tube benders with adjustable handles that make it easy to bend copper, aluminum, steel and stainless steel medium-to-light wall tubing up to 180°.

Features of Tube Benders with Adjustable Handles:
o Forms accurate bends up to 180°
o Ergonomical handle design
o Bends copper, aluminum, steel and stainless steel tube
o Available in 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" sizes
o Vice mountable
o Uses same bend radii as 2829S benders

I'd say, my record benders will last longer.

I carry my benders by stuffing them in over the wheel arches, and then throwing loads of dust sheets and other junk on top (for protection of course).

Bent brackets do for everything from the benders to my multimaster in its bag........tools are the easy part, its when you've stripped out an old open vented system and have to cram in all that lovely but filthy scrap and a cylinder that no matter how long you've had it propped up on its side to drain it,....it STILL manages to spew out green gunky crap all over your best tools cos you've left it till the last thing to go in the van, its dark outside, your tired so it just gets fecked in on top of erything else and sods law dictates it leaks on your best bit of kit....every time..

Strap it to the roof rack!! I've done it in the past, but that's cos I drive a vauxhall Combo and don't have the choice if the old man's not around with his Navara.

one tip is to get a rubber o ring from a 110mm socket and tie a knot in the middle of it, you then have a figure 8 that slips over the end of your benders arms and stops it swinging open etc..... better for storage and carrying.

patent pending 🙂

Love peering into other peoples vans!! LOL

Just nosey.

Oh and TB - what is the blue thing you have strapped to the side (orange strap).??

I use interlocking lid tote boxes for all my gear now and they go nicely on the racking in my workshop.

I attach the formers to the pipe bender using large heavy elastic bands.

I swapped my van for a pickup with a canopy and it's good in that it stops me hoarding junk in my vehicle and uses less fuel pushing said junk around for miles.

I wish I could have a pickup, couldn't cope with the size though.
